Post by TomiT14 »

Damn, how did I forget to create a thread for the tour?

I'll update the dates and "who's going" list here soon, but first things first: HOLY SHIT THAT SETLIST!
Those who didn't catch it at 0:12, I strongly suggest to consider that this contains a lot of spoilers for the upcoming shows:

Of course this setlist is subject to change (pun intended), but so far that seems to be the best setlist they've ever done. I'm so looking forward to them to bring this to Europe as well. I mean DAMN!

I love both songs, they're catchy as hell, hope I can hear them live.
On setlist.fm it says they also played Turning Away (hell yeah!), The New Sensation (hell yeah!), 45(A Matter of Time) and Catching Fire. For the last one I'm not sure it's good for a live show, but all in all, it seems like a killer setlist, 27 songs in one night is brutal.

Hey guys. I was at the show in Pittsburgh last night. This was my 4th time seeing the sums. Twice at Warped Tour and once opening for Pierce the Veil. This was my first headlining show and it did not disappoint. The guys killed the 2 hour set. It was the perfect mix of new, old, fast, slow. The crowd never slowed down or lost interest for the entire 2 hours.

They have a new piano intro that rolls right into Turning Away which was an amazing opener and sounded so good live. Dave’s solo was incredible.

I was able to film Open your eyes and I’m not the one. After Open Your Eyes, Deryck said that was the first time they had ever played it live. Honestly you would have no idea. It sounded perfect and like it’s been in the set for years.

It was so cool hearing the full version of 88 again. It’s been a really long time since they’ve done that. Motivation went right into the Bitter End:
Here’s The New Sensation. I believe this was the first time it was played live as well.

I was too busy jamming out to record 45 but it was my favorite new song live. The guitars in the intro and verses sounded soo nice.

I won’t spoil it for you guys but they played P4P a little differently. It was so cool. If you haven’t bought your tickets yet, this is not the tour you want to miss.

That was everything I got. I definitely regret not filming Turning Away and 45. It was so loud in the venue I honestly assumed the videos would just sound like garbage. I was pleasantly surprised the find the audio wasnt too bad.

They posted some tour updates. This is the first time with current format that they've used actual live audio! :ohshiz:
