Need help with black lines in a video

Post by Andros »

Hey guys, I need your help, this is my problem:

I rendered a video in HD format, but when I convert to .swf, black lines appear on the sides, I don't know if it's possible to remove these black lines, I need the video in .swf without black lines, any ideas for that? Thanks guys.

Maybe incomplete converting? Screen shot? Are they solid black lines?

You'd have to be more specific about what software you are using and good stuff to know is the resolution of your HD video, also the resolution you chose on the .swf video.

It may be converting the video between different aspect ratios.. (for example: from 4:3 to 16:9) and to avoid stretching,is adding those black lines (pillarboxes).
