okay, so...

My friend has been hanging out a lot recently with my sister. I normally wouldn't mind really, but they are like REALLY tight now. Why they are is beyond me, but I think it's because she found out he likes her, so my sister, needing a date to prom, has been hanging out with him more and more. I just barely made it to the mall with them today, I was almost not invited. Me and my friend who likes my sister, and another friend I brought along went by ourselves for a while, while my sister and her friend went their seperate ways. Halfway through, of course my other friend HAD to go to gamestop, so my other friend ditched us and went to hang with my sister again. We found them later at Panera, and they all kind of had looks like "wtf?" so I was just kinda sitting there. After we left it was awkward when my sister drove us home, you could tell my friend didn't want anyone else there, except my sister, but being a responsible brother, I was watching her. I don't know what's going on, but my senior sister hanging out with my sophomore and junior friends is starting to really get to me.

What should I do?

Try to fix her up with a senior.
If she's just looking for a date to prom, then she'll ditch him for the senior, for sure.

that's the problem though, I'm not sure if she's crazy for him, I think she just wants a prom date, or boyfriend, I don't know if it's just to make her ex jealous or what.
and my friend is a really good friend, and if they did anything, first of all my dad would kill him, and he probably wouldn't be allowed anywhere near my house again, but it would also be really awkward because if he comes over, chances are he would hang out with my sister instead.

I had a very similar situation last year. My senior sister was also liked my junior friend. They went to prom together too. Just dont make a big deal about it. If you get all pissed and confront your sister or friend about it, things will just get worse. They wont even let you come with them when they go to the mall or wherever. Just let it go and they will grow apart eventually, trust me i went through the same thing.

I suggest just leaving her be. So what if she might go out with your friend?
Yes, it's awkward, but if it makes her happy, then it doesn't matter. You could... 'observe' their relationship and see if she really likes him. Or casually ask her, one day when you guys are alone, 'So, prom coming up, D'ja find a date yet?' then you could tell from her facial expressions and/or answer if she likes him or just wants a date. Also, if she hurries with your friend then that could be a sign that she just wants a date.

i can say that a lot of girls my age do not tend to go for younger guys.
i suggest you do one or more of the following:
- introduce him to a girl his own age. after a few days he'll not think about her at all.
- introduce her to a guy her own age, maybe explain the situation to her - if she has sense, shell try to hang out with him less etc so as not to hurt your friendship with him
- kill them all, problem solved

we dont tend to go for younger ones unless your name is maddona or demi moore , i dont really know why we tend to go for guys a few years older
