so im at work right now and i'm flipping out. full on hysteria. seriously.
my placement tests for college were yesterday. i missed them because my mom wouldnt leave on time to drive me to the train. so i went to reschedule online because my college does EVERYTHING online and SURPRISE the server isnt working for most incoming students therefore i cannot login. nevermind that i cant get on to reschedule my tests, but next week on monday is when we can start registering for classes (online only of course) and i can't do that either if my login isn't working!
to add to that i have two slipped discs in my lower spine. and the pain is getting progressively worse. my doctor would like me to get steroid injections to take the pain away. ive gotten them before, but they wore off. i do not want this procedure done because while it does instantly make you better, you have side effects lasting for at least a month afterwards, making you sick to your stomach, headaches and you get manic. and with all this stress and aggravation from FIT (my college) and not being able to work it out PLUS add on the stress of your first year at college i will be a huge mess and honestly i bet you i'd simply fall apart.
oh, and i am also the 'adult' woman in the house since my mom is in the middle of her midlife crisis and has been acting like she's a teenager for the past 4 months. half the shit she does, i dont even do!

so yeah thats my sob story. i just really needed to get it all out because im sitting in my office with my door closed trying so hard to stop crying and freaking out and i just.. cant.
it probably makes no sense. oh well :? [/b]

go back home, sit in a nice arm chair on your porch when the weather is still nice, and have yourself a nice cup(s) of smoothies.

Have you tried glucosamin and chondroitin for your back? My dad takes that stuff for his knees, and he didn't have to get the steroid injections. *nods*

i havent heard of that, but ill ask my doctor about it for sure.

I'm not sure if it'll work on your back, I think it mainly works when the cartilidge is deteriorating, but it's worth a shot.
