Everyone, I Got A Problem

Okay, I'm going out tonight with this girl that I meet a few weeks ago. I meet her a few weeks ago with a group of friends, then I played man-hunt in Wal-Mart with her and her friends and I was on her team. Then I saw her at school and we talked a little bit, and at this point I didnt have any feelings for her. Then she started talking to me on Facebook, and started text me last week and we even hung out a few times. After talking and hanging out with, I started liking her.
The problem is that she started calling me her best friend last week and that this date is a best friend date and I want to be more than friends. I really have no idea what to do or say tonight to make her my girlfriend.
So if you all could help me, I would really like it. Please and thank you!

Well, look if she sends any signals that's more than a best friend type of thing you know.
And never make your mind up! Try to be sure and confident in your decisions and behaviour. You could always ask her as a best friend if she'd imagine you as something more... a question like this:

"Hey, what if we would take this best friend thing to another level? Would you like that?"

and if you want the easy way, tell her how you feel, and find out what kind of guys she likes, so that you know how exactly you should say it

Well I might be late because you're probably with her right now, you're better off find out now, than waiting and becoming more of a friend. Just ask her afterwards, probably it's a better idea doing it after the "date" to see how it went. If there were no awkward moments or anything than you might have something. Send her a text, something like "Hey I had fun last night, we should do it more often!" Something along the lines of that. If she says yes, then try giving her a kiss next time you see her. NOT IN THE BEGINNING ON THE DATE THOUGH!
Every girl is different, so my advice may or may not work. But trust me don't be needy, whiny, or start say you want to be her boyfriend. That's pretty much a turnoff for every girl.

Thank you everyone for the all the wonderful advice. The bad part was that we didnt go on a date, she was shopping all day and was too tired to go anywhere but I hung out with her and a few friends all night. So we are going out next Wedesday
