To get over a break up

I wrote like 5 already on my acoustic guitar. And with my old depressing acoustic songs, I almost have a full album of depressing acoustic songs, I gotta get a good mic and maybe record them, first I need to learn to sing though.

Damn, same situation happened to me just last night. it sucks, i really loved her and believed in our relationship.

I've basically come to realize we're all too young to worry about this shit.

This didn't happen to be last night but a month ago.

I too, realized that it was dumb to sit there and be sad over it.

But that is also after i learned she wants to get back together....

you need to find a new hobby that takes you to new heights. It will pump you up. Something that will give you lots of fun and enjoyment. Commit to it and do it atleast 3 or 4 days a week. Sports really help, but join a league or something. Karate is a blast, it'll help your self esteem, and if you get up in rank you'll have chicks coming to you.
Trust me, it's the only thing I can think back on in my life that I can say that truly worked to get these damn girlfriend breakups off my mind once and for all. Unfortuneatly it hurts and takes time to heal like everything else, but you'll be better off following my advice.
Marijuana & alcohol can only help so much, but training hard at something positive will level you up and you'll be flying like a kite and ready to take on way more girls than you can handle, depending on how hard you train.

i was with my girl for 2 months, and we didnt even kiss (tho we did get pretty physically close) and i still love her. its been 3 months. i highly recommend sports, video games, just do shit that gets her off your mind. i wouldnt recommend tv..... because little things might remind u of her.

Thanx for the advice, man. I'm just trying to work on new music in the meantime. Nothing is really happening with my band so I'm working on these depressing calm acoustic songs. I had like 3 old songs, and now after the break-up I wrote like 7 new ones. I have almost an album of depressing acoustic songs , just need to work on my vocals then record them. So working on that for now, though I always think about her, that sucks.

Few drunken nights didn't help, nor did talking with friends. I felt ultimately depressed.
Then I heard few of my friends were going to Thailand for weeks, so I joined them.
That trip was good, getting me away from anything that reminded me of her. Total relaxation and getting your thoughts restarted. And although I doubted it beforehand, the night life had a positive effect on forgetting her.

So what I suggest, get out of your everyday life, do something that gets you out of the surroundings that remind you of her.
Or get a rebound. That worked for me some time ago.

That actually is a pretty cool and thats why I disappeared for a few days now. We just sat in a bar with some friends, got really drunk and decided to go to Eilat, its this tourist resort in the other end of Israel where people go on vacations and stuff. So we got there, got ourselves this cool apartment for 3 days and got drunk and crazy everyday, finding chicks and stuff. It was really fun and all, but to be honest, I was still thinking about my ex. While being with another chick, I thought about her, and the ride back in the bus I was also thinking about her, and thats some rough ride of around 6 hours in a bus, made me go crazy, just thinking about her.

So while doing it, yeah, I wasn't really thinking about her, but there were parts I was, and especially for all the ride home, all the time in the bus thats all I did. Today is exactly two weeks since she dumped me, which sucks. We still decided to be friends and stuff, although It seemed in the beggining she did it cuz she felt sorry for me or whatever, I dunno, I thought that could be a way to get her back and stuff. When I just logged on to the MSN yesterday when I came back home, she sent me a message right away asking me if I really did it, cuz I was updating the facebook from my phone, that we all got drunk and just decided to do something crazy, suddenly she sounded cool talking to me after the break-up, but I dunno... I guess i'm pathetic but I would do anything to get her back.
