1. Fix the section mod group so that you don't have to have the whole group mod a section, and you can just pick one or two people in the group to mod a specific section.

2. Don't have a thread where people ask to be mod, you should hand pick good moderators.

I'd be a good mod, but I don't think that this is the way to go about choosing mods. I think that you should just decide who would be a good mod by looking at the most helpful and respectful people on the forum.
