Try it by ear. It might be hard for the solo, but try it for the rest of the song. It's a good skill to have.

Oh I just downloaded a backing track, but maybe the person who made it used guitar pro. I just recorded all the guitar parts.

That's not bad actually. You just need a better way of recording your guitar. Drums sounded great though.

Hey Derek. When you come up with songs, what is your theory for creating music? Do you come up with the rhythm first, the riff first or lyrics first?
