All that I need is time for me to breathe. Dream little dreams that only I believe. Now that I see beyond the light, I'm gonna be, I'll be alright.

Try using recording software like Audicity first. This is a free open-source software program.

In the reocrding device section there is a choice of recording devices. Like Microphone Port Jack (Pink), Line-in port (Blue) and other shit. USB might be one of them.

I have never used USB on my guitar so this is just a guess

That may be true, but I suggested Aducity as that can also run on Mac and Linux. I currently have it running on my Ubuntu 9.04 install.

That is why I said "Also", Audacity was designed for Windows API

Plus, I'm one of those people that still has a Windows computer, My PC is my primary gaming computer and most games on play on Windows thinks to DX.

you could use audacity (spelling???) but it sounds like shit. if you have a mac, get a preamp/fast track interface (which comes with a cd) and use garage band
