Listen to the new Green Day CD? I just got it onto my iPod. I'm going to listen to it later. I have high hopes for it. Did anyone else wait out the extra week to listen to the CD or am I the only one?

Well, I bought it today, and I'm gonna listen to it in a few minutes, I'm sure this album is amazing !!!!
I've only listened to 21st century breakdown and know your enemy, I hope the rest of the album will be as good as these songs !!

Yep, waited till today and now I'm listening to it for the third time.

DEFINITELY not GD's best, but still a damn good album!

Ok so I listened to the cd twice today. Not bad at all! The hour and nine minutes went pretty quickly. Here are the songs that stood out to me.

21st Century Breakdown - different from the demo, but still not bad.
Know Your Enemy - still kinda annoying, but still decent.
¡Viva La Gloria! - I liked this song a lot. The guitars in the song are what caught my attention.
Christians Inferno - This song reminded me of The Network. Odd, but great song.
East Jesus Nowhere - Started out slow, but got my attention half way through.
Peacemaker - just a great song on the album
Murder City - another good song.

It seemed like after Murder City the cd was good, but no other songs caught my ear except for 21 Guns and American Eulogy. There's way more songs that I'll listen to on this cd than on American Idiot. All in all was it worth the long 4 year wait? I say yes. What do you think? Do you like it?

I listened to it once yesterday, and I was kinda disappointed with some songs, but some others were pretty good to me ! Also, I don't think you can love an album from the beginning, you like it more and more in time.
For me, this album is amazing because of the mixing part, everything is perfect, you can hear the quality of the instruments they used, and that's what makes this record so good.
Billy's voice is really good also, but I don't know, I have the feeling that it is too "commercial"...
So yes, I love this record, but I'm sure it could have been MUCH better, but I must admit my hopes were really high for this record.
My biggest deception on this album is KYE, it's just not a good song (that's my opinion, though).
