Try to move faster so you can synchronize yourself with the music and all of a sudden you'll start listening in the correct pace.

Re: my laptop plays music too fast
well, i was gonna ask if it was just in WMP, but i read its in both.
but try this anyways, open WMP, and under the "Now Playing" tab, click the arrow and choose Enhancements> Play speed settings. fix it there.
that might do it for WMP, but im not sure about itunes....

It's it just music or is it everything, like the WIndows start-up sound and that?

Re: my laptop plays music too fast
Hz=Cycles per second. ie 100hz=100 cycles per second. When its used to describe sound, it means number of vibrations per second. nothing to do with the speed at which sound plays, just the pitch. Lower the Hz=Lower the pitch for exampleStill_Waiting wrote:V can you tell what the hell is that?V wrote:It has to do with the Hz.
Have you tried reinstalling sound card drivers, easiest way would be to push Windows+Pause/break go to hardware tab, Device manager. find your sound card, right click. uninstall and then reboot. at start up windows will find ur sound card and reinstall it for you :D you shouldnt have to do anything other than watch

Re: my laptop plays music too fast
It's possible for the system to mess up with the sample rate of the audio played, in which case the sound would sound as sped up.Jake wrote:Hz=Cycles per second. ie 100hz=100 cycles per second. Now the real question is: does a 3 minute song last less than 3 minutes or does it last 3 minutes but sounds sped up?

you could go to Control Panel>Sounds, Speech, and Audio Devices>Sound Effects> under the sound effects tab, go to the karaoke panel and adjust the pitch either way.
but only if thats the case.

I think it is unique settings for his sound card, so all of us may not have that
