Making a Deryck Whibley Signature Guitar

Post by d4rkst4r »

Before I go into detail, I'd like everyone to know that I'm not buying that signature squire he put out.

So, I'm trying to make one of the guitars he used during the Does This Look Infected tour. The guitar in this picture:
<a href="http://photobucket.com" target="_blank"><img src="http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c145/ ... 0d976b.jpg" border="0" alt="Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket"></a>

From what I researched, it's an American Fender Telecaster HH guitar. I personally think this one is much better looking then say his squire one. Anyway, the problem is no stores carry it (ostankes and central) nor does fender continue to produce it...so. Anyone know where I can get my hands on one?

You could buy something online.
I know Guitar Center has stuff like it.
I don't like the design of the guitar.
I think it looks stupid, and the headstock gets on my nerves.
But you know all you need is duct name and some band stickers :)

Cool man, I'm doing the same thing except I'm doing the '72 Tele Deluxe.

I want to make the pewter Telecaster HH with the stickers... but I had the same problem of not being able to find the HH model and finding the stickers.

Yeah, I'm tempted to buy it, but I'm nervous about buying something so expensive online, I've only bought books and DVDs online.

If you want it badly enough, I say go for it. I'll probably go for that pewter Tele HH later in the year once I recover my savings from my other expenses.

No I've disliked that guitar for awhile.
My mom bought me a guitar calendar for last year and I liked some of the guitars, but I mainly hate the headstock.
I think the one Deryck has is pretty.
So pretty much if I hate skirts...or I hate types of guitars it's because of Avril?
Stupid.
I'm getting a strap.
That Cone, Avril, and some other guy has.

Yeah.
But I'm talking about the headstock that he has on that guitar in that picture.
To me it makes a guitar look ugly.

Yeah, I kind of find the Tele headstock to be a little small... But the Telecaster itself is a great guitar.
