Possibly a dumb question, but it needs an answer

whats the easiest way to transfer a whole lotta media from one computer to another
Ive got a few thousand songs
on my familys computer and Im getting my own
how do I get them on there??

If you have 1000's of songs flash drives probably won't cut it. Your going to have to get an external hard drive. I got like an 80GB external for like 80 bucks i think. That should suit you.

Meh I would just burn it onto a mp3 disc and then transfer it that way. That's how I did it once I think.

I used a re-write-able disc to do that :lol:

thats what i done when i moved of my music and stuff from the family computer to my one when i first got it, i used quite a few discs, but it was the only way i could think of doing it, lol

an mp3 disc??? use a data disc you can fit much more songs on, but even if you have like a 1gb flash drive its still good, i mean it might take you like 10-20 transfers but its no waste of cd's/dvd's and its cheaper than a external hard drive.

I bought an External Hard Drive Case.

You put the hard drive out of your old PC and put it into this case so it acts like an External Hard Drive. Worked For Me.

Then After you can format it and have an External hard drive of your own :D
