Over the past year, I have been heavily involved in a hip-hop project with my best friend, who goes by the stage name, Julian Spark. I produce, engineer, and aid in the writing process of his music. I, personally, am not the biggest hip-hop fan. Because of this, I try to bring a different influence to the table. I mix my musical background (from alternative to pop, etc.) with his sense of hip-hop. The result is interesting. Last night, we released our first music video and I am really happy with the outcome.

The song is called "Home". It's presented from the perspective inside Julian's head. As you can tell, a lot goes on in that fuckers mind. For this one, I wrote and created the music and did the chorus. Julian is on the verses.
Hit me with that feedback, skumfuks!

Awe, thanks heather! I have some really cool stuff planned with my own music. It will suite TNS far more than hip-hop does haha!

Very nice! I could easly see this in MTV or something and think it's like a new professional rapper or something. Well edited, loved the concept. Yeah, I can't get the chorus out of my head ^^

The eye shit is what annoyed me a bit. The music is awesome, the chorus is catchy as hell, but I just can't help but think of Hopsin... it's like Hopsin, Breathe Carolina, Owl City... all of it just popped into my head.

Also, fuck the Blackhawks.

The chorus is awesome, and the guy sounds pretty good. I think it is definitely a bit more original than what's out there today, and you did a great job fusing a couple genres without making it sound forced. I prefer the song to the video, but the video is definitely pretty good for what I would expect to be a fairly small budget.

Expected this to be fairly shit. Was pretty fucking impressed. Great job. You made two genres of music I despise actually appeal to me (sorta).

I'm not a much of a fan of hip hop either, but i have to say i liked that! The melody is cool and you both have a nice voice too.

This song is quite good and like everyone else said, that chorus is infuriatingly catchy! Definitely reminds me of something between Hopsin and Mac Miller. I'm not a huge fan of hip-hop, but i liked it! and on top of that, the video and sound quality of it all was impressive. very nice

I know nothing of hip-hop, but I enjoyed that! I agree with Heather, you've got a cool voice Nic! The chorus has a very nice melody; it really added to the song. Music video was really cool too. Great effort!
