You could try and go to a retail outlet that sells tickets. For example, downtown here you can pick up or purchase tickets at Copps Coliseum Box Office for events. Also, there are stores in different cities that sell things that include concert tickets (they usually have a list of what's available on their own website or something.) Some record stores do this as well.

As of right now the odds are turning in my favor! I'm so joyous.
It may take a few weeks before I can get my ticket so I'm worried about it selling out....I'll cry.

What a coincidence! I always look for stuff like that if it's something to do with The Sums. I noticed some people mentioning seating on some websites. Is it just GA and the seating doesn't mean anything or they're actually playing some venues with seating? I thought they were just like club shows because they're playing a smaller venue here - which I guessed the one but I actually like it, especially since it's general admission.

Its GA Standing only, but the tickets stil have seat numbers

You can also go to a grocery store, buy a gift card, and buy the ticket that way. That's what I did when I was 16-18 since my mom wouldn't let me use her credit card. Hopefully this helps.

Oh yeah, those come in handy. Most useful gift I ever got was one from my brother last year. I was planning on saving it actually for when Sum 41 announced a tour because I thought maybe there would be more than one Ontario show but I had to use the card sooner than that. Good thing about them as well, they expire in like 4 years time. I would have thought within the year of purchase but nope.
I have a gift card that would cover like half the cost, but then I was going to pay the rest with cash.
