Though Muse has been quite often criticized for mimicking Queen, this time they've taken it to a completely new level with this Survival song... The song just reeks of Queen. But it's still better than half of what was on Resistance. ..

I really liked the orchestral parts, but not the dubstep, not one bit. I'm still going to give this album a listen when it's released.

:sosad: They used to be good, hopefully rest album could be better, orchestral part is ok but dub step, don't like dubstep at all, it's just bleeding awful, I went to see "Lostprophets" and a support band was dubstep with like chart music mixed and heavy rock n but lot dub step mostly, it was horrible, like vibrator going through your body, the bass was too much really for my liking, damage your flipping hearing to be honest, I was bit deaf by time Lostprophets came on but they were great.

What is it with bands trying to fit in on the scene now, Linkin Park are a disaster now even though I kinda like Burn It Down, Muse, c'mon, so what if people don't like you for what you are, they are are people out there who still love rock music!

well that was a huge letdown, i thought it would have more substance than that. the orchestral parts were indeed very cool, the dubstep was fun as well but i thought it would amount to some kind of verse and chorus eventually.

its just like an intro, this song is part 1 and the 2nd to last song on the album, part 2 should have all of that and be very epic i hope to finish off the album

It's 2 parts so there'll be a proper catchy chorus thing in the next part I'm guessing. If the next part is just another instrumental I'll be pissed though.

The song was just bad. I see how they tried to do something new with it, but it doesn't work. Also now that I've had time to listen to Survival more than once that song is starting to irritate me too... I hope the full album will have better songs than these two.

Re: MUSE "Madness" - New Single

Heard a leak of Madness, really like it! It's slow and chill, and the second half kinda sounds like U2. I can see lots of people hating it, but it's my favourite track so far! Like it way more than Survival.

I can't stand the dubstep song.. Survival was okay, but their earlier stuff was still so much better :l

I really don't like Madness much, I guess I like their faster stuff. From what I've heard I like Survival the best, then Unsustainable, then Madness. I guess I'm hoping for more of Assassin type songs...
