this will sound dumb as fuck, but I've never heard about the band Brian had been in before TGA ! I can't download it anywhere though

even if you can't find the This Charming Man EP on there, there's a shit load of Gaslight stuff on there! live songs, acoustic versions, covers, all sorts really!

EDIT: Well, I listened to it and it's really great. Some somber tunes, but probably good music to brood to. I really enjoyed I Witnessed A Crime. The organ on that song is cool. I also like his voice in Go Tell Everybody.

However, two songs don't seem to play all the way for me. Only about 20 seconds plays before it skips over to the other song and those two songs are Cherry Blossoms and Blood Loss. Does anyone have the same problem?

I caved in an downloaded it yesterday, it's so fucking good. you can see why Brian didn't want to any of this with Gaslight. my favourites so far are Sugar, Cherry Blossoms and Black Betty & The Moon.

ya, i had the same problem. didn't change my opinion on the album though; it's very good, i likes it.

that's a label with quite a reputation , they got artists like David Bowie, Van Morrison, U2, Jimmy Page or EJ, good for TGA !

Went to see them at the Picture House in Edinburgh shortly after they released American Slang. It was a good show. I would see them again.
