The All-American Rejects- Kids In The Street *Leak*

Post by Dbacks1694 »

It's been about 4 years since When The World Comes Down came out. Are you guys excited about the Rejects anymore? I think this album is definately better than WTWCD but nothing like Move Along or the self-titled. A lot of really good songs on it still. What do you guys think that have heard it? If you haven't, links below.

Damn, YouTube is blocked on my system until 4pm. Guess I'll just have to wait. Really liked WTWCD but honestly wasn't a massive fan of some of their earlier stuff.

They're still a band? (I'm being completely serious, I thought they broke up)

I downloaded this one yesterday and heard it, and it's the weirdest album ever... doesn't sound at all like any of their previous albums... and I even liked the last one even though it wasn't really good and very experimental. Though this one sounds like some 80s new wave or whatever... very quiet, can never call it pop punk or even some kind of rock haha, it's really weird. The only track that stood out to me was the title track, after like 3 listens to the whole album... it's a really weird one, I might give it a few more listens though.

I think they are considered power pop or whatever, though their first two albums were fun catchy pop punk.
