New Useless ID songs

Post by Hentaiman »

For all the Useless ID fans, I don't know if you guys know, but the band's new album Symptoms is coming out in a few days, on February 14. It is the band's first on Fat Wreck.

The band released already the first single "Before It Kills" (which they're also making a video for), as well as two other tracks that were released for free streaming on various sites.

Before It Kills:

Fear in the Mirror:

New Misery:

Some really good stuff. There's also 30 seconds previews of all of the tracks on Amazon, but I didn't want to listen to these so I won't ruin the album for myself haha.

I've always liked this band, still do, some good stuff
This is Mark Allen Hoppus. He likes long walks on the beach. This, this is travis barker. He likes to be read poetry just before sunset. And me, I like to stick small pieces of furniture up my butt.

I spy on my dad while he is taking a shower just like everyone else
Mark: Sometimes when I talk in 3rd person i end up calling tom mark
Tom:Yea than he starts touching me and i think thats masturbation
Some people think were idiots or perverts dont argue were both.
"i think we're gonna be one of those bands thats around forever and even makes records, even if noones buying them and using them for toilet paper...but we'll still make them because we'll be the best fuckin toilet paper anyones ever used...." - Tom Delonge

No problem guys! Yeah, they' band is awesome, some good punky and serious lyrics.

Btw, Punknews.org are now streaming the whole new album for free, so listen to it!!

Also, the band's frontman Yotam Ben Horin will be releasing his solo album this March/April, so you should check that one out too when it comes out, though it's not really punk, more indie/alternative/acoustic kinda thing. He released the first single last December, check it out:

You guys seem to like this band, so I'll post the link for the new album in the Other Multimedia section. It leaked, either yesterday or today.
And I know I said I needed space,

but I know I can't be comfortable in my own skin.

So when I say I'm scared to be alone, you know I mean it,

I'm just not ready to leave my room.

Symptoms is so good! I'm not entirely sure I like it more than The Lost Broken Bones, but it's still a solid release by a pretty consistently good band.

Yeah, exactly my thoughts! Though I'm still sure The Lost Broken Bones was kinda better, but Symptoms is awesome also! It's just so great, lyrically and musically, I wish it was longer though.

I heard about them for the first time when Hentaiman were posting about Symptoms and I have to say that there are my best discovery in 2012 so far. I showed a few songs to my friends and they're enjoying it as well. Good music and I like Symptoms the most, but The Lost Broken Bones is not bad also.

Nice! I'm glad I'm made another fan for them haha ! They're an amazing band and they're already together for like 16 years and are not that known as they should have been, though now when Symptoms was their first album on Fat Wreck, it should make them more popular now!
They're touring Europe this summer with Lagwagon, apparently, already a good thing!
