I noticed that there are many people of different countries of which music I have no idea so I create that topic
What is your most favourite band of your country and want to show it us?
I am from Slovakia in the middle Europe and we have some really good bands
Slobodna Európa (translation: Free Europe) - punk'n'roll since 1989
Horkýže Slíže (translation: What Noodle) - very popular band with really funny lyrics

Canada. Sorry folks, it's not Sum 41, it is and always will be RUSH. I'm not gonna post a video because honestly if you search Rush on YouTube, any video will do.

there's a pretty cool newcomer-band in germany, their name is "Kraftklub" (in english something like "workout studio"), they formed in 2010 and already played at the "Rock Am Ring" festival with ~85.000 audience.
Genre: Indie/Rock/Pop/Rap

this is their first single, released 08/05/11, called "zu jung" (english: "too young")
they are going to release their first studio album on 01/20/12.

some catalan bands i like
Sopa de cabra (goat's soup), me and my friend saw them live on septemberafter their 10 years break, awesome
lax'n'busto( no trasnalation here cos it was a medicine)
pepet i marieta They're from my area, so they use the same dialect as me

Well, in my opinion, the best band from Canada is Sum 41.
We have many talented musicians though. A few well known include:
Shania Twain, Bryan Adams, Celine Dion, Alanis Morissette, Neil Young, Avril Lavigne, Rush, Nickelback, The Guess Who, The Tragically Hip, ect.
