So, Sum 41 was listed to play today at Daytona Beach, FL, but since there has been no mention about it lately, I checked the organizer's site, which had this message.

SUM 41 will not be featured at the concert. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Anyone knows why they cancelled?

I tried getting tickets ever since the first time I saw that on their website, and I just got sent to a dead link. This sucks cock. They better get to the east coast of the USA soon!

I read this on tumblr a few days ago. Wasn't sure since it wasn't a real source or anything. It's a shame! Hope they have a tour soon though. I'm having major Sum 41 withdrawels.

UK tour in 2008? Eastpak in 2010? Both were headlining tours with full setlists, so you can't count either of them out.
Also some individual shows, at least Sonisphere last Summer and London Underworld in February last year.

That is a lot, compared to what North or South America have had during that time.

Typo, I meant 4 years. In 4 years (ie. since 2008) they've been once. And one date in London does not constitute a tour. I'm just sick of Americans complaining about having few tour dates, because that is complete crap compared to everywhere else in the world excluding France.

Fairly sure Tom said there will be no touring of Gob alongside Sum 41. He can't manage two intense back-to-back set lists.

Ah, you're not alone on that one. It's getting kind of crazy because SBM hasn't had as much promotion as it should be getting (especially for USA/Canada) They even cancelled that show that was supposed to be on April 21st. I hope everything is okay with Deryck, or whatever the reasoning is.

Yeah, I'm thinking at this point that it would be too late. The same thing kind of happened with Underclass Hero. They lost tons of momentum when Deryck first injured his back. I just don't know what Sum 41 wants to do anymore. They don't care about being on the radio... etc. So do they care about promotion? I think they would need a lot of it to get some good ticket sales in North America whenever they get to tour that place again.

Sum 41 are going to perform at Kubana Festival in Veselovka in Southwestern Russia, along with The Offspring. Sum 41 will be on stage on August 2nd.
