Sum 41 will be co-headlining PunkSpring, Japanese 2-day festival in Tokyo and Osaka on March 31st / April 1st 2012 along with The Offspring, New Found Glory and All Time Low.

So far their touring schedule looks like this:

February-March - Europe
March-April - Japan
April-May - US/CAN ?

Along with PunkSpring, the only confirmed dates are the UK tour and couple of French dates in March. There was some talk in July that they would tour Europe in the beginning of the year, then tour North America in Spring (April-May?).
And of course they should re-schedule the Australian and Asian dates aswell. So we should have a lot of Sum 41 touring well into 2012.

I would soooo miss All Time Low there ... I would dug up a ditch and bury myself in it for the time they'd be playing

Cool, glad more dates are being revealed of their activities next year. And glad to see they are still popular enough to have a headlining spot at a Punk Fest in Japan, unlike in the western world, they seem to always be below acts like All Time Poo

I really liked their last performances from Punkspring. One of my favourites. It's cool that they're apart of the festival's lineup again.

April-May - US/CAN ? I really hope so. Although, I can't even wait that long.

I only thought the UK tour and this PunkSpring dates are the only one confirmed? what other European/French dates are you talking about, Tomi? didn't hear about any other dates. I do hope for their US and Canadian fans to get a proper tour in 2012 though, I mean, these guys been waiting for so long.

There's at least one French date confirmed for March 9th (if I recall correctly), and I think there was another one too. So no confirmation for rest of the Europe, but I would think that they would play couple of shows here and there. Last July Tom said that they would spend a month in France doing the rest of the 41 shows. But then again their touring plans have been rearranged, so this could be changed too.

But yeah, only confirmed ones so far are Kerrang, Punkspring and that one or two French shows in March.

Oh okay, got it. I hope they would come to Israel, but I'm pretty sure it's not gonna happen, which sucks. Hope they'll drop the 41 shows in France thing but if they want to do this it'll take them at least a month in France, and we want more shows in other parts of the world!

I doubt there's any type of "contract" or something to make them do the rest of the 41 shows. That idea was the dumbest thing I ever heard of in the first place. Definitely something their management thought of.

they haven't successfully been out west since the Chuck tour. they played Vancouver, Edmonton and Calgary (?) before Deryck broke his back on the UH tour. and for this tour i know they scheduled a show for some small town out of Regina, but i think that was cancelled along with their Alberta dates around then. im not 100 % positive, but in the past, lets say 6 years, they have played less than 10 shows in the west of Canada. You Torontonians and Hamiltonians have had far more Sum 41 dates during the same time period. then again, i am just talking out of my ass, but still... RAAAAGGEEEEEE 1!!!!!
