I can't wait for it. Liam's new stuff was really disappointing. But we all know Noel was the man behind Oasis. And I think it was finally time to put Stop the Clocks on album. There's at least couple versions of it floating around internet but Noel didn't like the finished product so he never included it on Oasis albums, even tho he loves that song. I guess he finally managed to record version that satisfied him.

I also read some interview in Finnish that said that his second album is coming soon after this one, so less than a year and two Noel Gallagher albums!

can't fucking wait. i love noel and am so glad to hear how mediocre beady eye is. he was always a better singer than liam anyway and it'll be good for him to finally be able to sing all the songs he wrote for an album.

I read about a second album too but apparently that second album is a lot more experimental and something Noel called a combination of space jazz, soul, funk and more.

it will be more like oasis, cuz noel wrote the vast majority of oasis' songs (and frankly all of their notable ones). beady eye features different songwriters, so of course noel's solo stuff will reflect oasis and really won't relate to beady eye at all.

Love old Oasis, Beady Eye had some good songs as well. Should be an interesting album.

Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds have confirmed the release on August 21st of their first ever single - 'The Death Of You And Me' - on Noel's Sour Mash Records label.

Noel announced The High Flying Birds recently at his press conference. He told us,
"My manager asked me who the High Flying Birds are. They aren't anyone in particular. Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds is me and whoever is around at the time of whatever it is that I'm doing, a loose collective kinda thing."

Triple post x) New single & video out. I really love it. It's quite different but still sounds exactly like Noel. Some parts reminded me of Importance of Being Idle which is good since I love that song.

I didn't care for it too much.

Wow that's a great song! I liked it more than the single that was previously released.
It has a real Oasis feel, like it's something that was written for "What's the Story Morning Glory" album.
