The ink ran out of my pen
The last letters fading away
The last thoughts left unsaid
Left engraved in my head
Time passes us by
You barely notice
It drags on forever
In my head you’ve become a memory
Sitting on the ledge
Too many thoughts driving me to the edge
I’m desensitized, barely recognized the words I memorized,
I needed to say to you
I’m speechless
Feeling so useless
And I got to confess
I love you and I can’t take this
Anymore, anymore
The ink ran out of my pen
The last letters fading away
The last thoughts left unsaid
Left engraved in my head
These are the scars
In my head
Dented from an accident
As the rescuers try to recover
What was meant to remain from the wreckage
Before time runs out and it’s all over
Last chance, last stand
But I can’t
These words just ran
