Yeah, great song and clip

But isn't she getting a little bit too old for songs like this?

The whole point of the song is about " fuck it , I'm getting old but I can still have fun" That's the way I see it.

I don't even know what song you're talking about but you're probably right.
I'm not going to look for it either.

Friendly advice: don't listen to it for your own sake

I've never liked her music, but really? That song must be one of her career low-points.
It's like... a dub-step/pop-song that's obviously just meant as a cash-grab for the Japanese market. + ..What the hell is up with the lyrics, they don't sound like something a grown-up would write. :glad:

and yet it took 4 grown-ups to write it
:suicide:

As for the new album in general, it is composed of every style she's ever, hence the self-title, but it feels like a mess and uncertainty of where she wants to go musically.. Give you what you like is without a doubt one of her best ever. The collab with Manson is pretty awesome, as well. I wish she stopped trying hard to make summer/radio hits and waste albums with them because she obviously can do a lot better.

I actually found the CD a lot better than Goodbye Lullaby. There's a good variety on this album. I won't listen to it too much, but it's better than her last CD.

Wow. Didn't know he took her name. Never would've thought about it.

But yeah, why did he wait for 4 years?

I live in a spanish speaking country, the thought of taking your husband's name is considered bullshit in our culture cos we've two last names.

Pretty sure it's ilegal to just have one last name.

I like the previous album better, but the more I listen to it, the more I like this new one (except Hello Kitty, I don't know what the hell this Psy-copy shit :P). My favourite one is 'Give you what you like', so awesome...

Waited till I got the CD for Christmas before listening to any of the songs beforehand (except Growing Up).

Absolute garbage.

If not self-titled, the album could've been called The Next Best Damn Thing. Back to the pink pop days. Except that this time it failed miserably.

Although the last album had some pop songs, the majority of the songs were not so poppy with acoustic vibes. I liked it. But this one, yeah, there are couple of slow songs, but the rest are way too poppy for Avril. None of the songs are catchy or any ways worth listening to again. The first three songs are somewhat OK, but the rest of the album is absolute rubbish. And don't get me started with Hello Kitty. Avril please, WHY?!

I really hoped that changing from RCA to Epic Records would've brought back some Punk she had lost during the years, but I was awfully mistaken. It was a big mistake to replace ALL of her songwriters from previous albums. Even her best friend Evan Taubenfeld was scratched from this one.

I thought TBDT was too poppy, but when comparing to this one, at least it had some catchy and punky songs.

I'm feel so bad for my mother having spent her money on this to get it to me for Xmas. Avril, you failed big time.

I totally agree with you. Avril's new album is so popish and... I don't know. Her song Hello Kitty is a BIG what the f*...I like some songs as Here's to never growing up, Rock and roll, and 17, but that's it. I think this is Avril's worst album, actually.
Avril, please come back to your old stuff..or at least as TBDT :(
