So I just asked Dave on the mail about the those punk, funk and reggae EPs we were waiting from BB for such a long time, and Dave said... well, apprently we're not gonna hear those.

I don't think that Vaughn guy is busy at all, i mean, i hate it when musicians/famous people say that they're super busy when they're not. I mean...at leat Dave could've came clean and said: God i shouldn't have left Sum 41 in the first place, so UH would've never seen the light, and i would have something to do now (Sum 41 rehearsals) instead of playing live with shitty bands, i strongly apologize if my recent posts in the Sum/BB section may give some of you the impression that i'm a twat, but when i read bullshit like this from somebody i used to admire, i just get mad.

forgive me as i'm probably (and hopefully) just misunderstanding this...but does this mean Brown Brigade is dead and Organ Thieves will be full time?

I think Dave just put it on the back-burner until whenever Vaughn's not busy. But yeah, Brown Brigade has definitely not been the priority for some time now.

I actually forgot about the EPs, haha.

Honestly, I'm not surprised.
What I'm surprised of is that he announced they'll scrap it. I thought they already had forgotten the idea of it.

I was really looking forward to it back in 2007, when it was suppose to come out by Christmas.
After it got postponed, I was sure we would never hear those songs, especially after Dave said he won't be the singer anymore.

Now let's wait for Cone's announce of scrapping the Sum-song he wrote (was to come out late 2007 / early 2008).

Haha yeah, the Sums will never scrap the Cone song. They'll just keep saying it will come out some day when they'll want to mix & master it or whatever.

Yeah, and Organ Thieves obviously become full-time for some time now for Dave. I mean, BB did nothing all year, after Dave announced in September 2008 that he quits as the singer and then just updated that they're looking for a new singer which has to be really good and fit them and all, so yeah, it kinda put BB into a hiatus, and Organ Thieves apparently did a lot of shows all year and they are getting to record their album, and now when Dave says that Vaughn is busy with his business or whatever, I guess that BB will do nothing at least until the OT album is out.

I also prefer BB more than OT especially with Dave's singing, too bad he won't sing anymore. But OT are great too and with Greig Nori producing their album its gonna be good.

Dave's Voice has got my vote as well.
I hope he gets the recognition he deserves with Organ Thieves.

I wonder what kind of business Vaughn's been busy with.

Vaughn's on Facebook. If we all ask him, I'm sure he'll answer one of us, haha.
