This is actually finnish Idol winner. He has written that song himself and I think it's pretty good, check it out and say what you think! Something like Oasis/U2 I guess? Or not but hey, it's catchy song!

Hey guys you need to recommend me something! I like moody, atmospheric music and a little bit morecomplicated stuff than "average person". The heavier, the better :winkwink:

Hentaiman wrote:The Midway State - http://www.myspace.com/themidwaystate - This band's first single "Change for You" (which is a great song), was the first music video Stevo has directed. They are really cool alternative/piano rock band, for fans of The Fray and such.
Thank you so much. They're great

I know that was months ago and you'll probably never look at this thread again but Biffy Clyro fit the bill perfectly.

For moody and atmospheric check out 'Puzzle'. For moody, atmospheric, complicated AND heavy check out "The Vertigo of Bliss' or 'Infinity Land'.

Their first album 'Blackened Sky' and latest one 'Only Revolutions' are absolutely class too

Kind of a reggae-influenced soft rock group. Real good if you like Sublime or most alternative music.

Agreed I saw them at King Tuts Wah Wah Hut in Glasgow and Flood of Red & The Amity Affliction were supporting

One of the best gigs I have been to!

The place is tiny and it was sold out so the place was jam packed and could hardly move

Band called Nikson. Some punk or whatever you want to call it. I don't like genre labels. I really like the band though.

Probably won't be seeing this as someone said above, but I thought I'd post anyway since I remembered some songs now that might fit that description. Well for me anyway.

Perfect way to describe the feeling of drugs, I can really feel his emotions http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WCygnfL0hww

If you havn't heard these guys yet, you sure have to! It's a shame they're on hiatus, as they're really good. Their song "Down" is on NHL 2004, so if you've played that game you've probably heard it. Listen to their album "Coming Up For Air", it's freaking awesome!

I wonder.. does any of you know band called BRITISH BEEF? I know them from Fifa Street 2, since then I was looking for their album but the only thing I found out was that they aren't playing anymore. So I got like 4 their songs and a few weeks/months ago their album showed up on iTunes so I bought it, because I really like this band.. I don't know I think you can't know them maybe someone from England will remember. And I really recommend it I like whole album pretty much.

http://george-gardiner.org/default.aspx?a=britishBeef - Here you can listen to all of their songs, it's one of former members.
http://www.myspace.com/britishbeef
http://www.last.fm/music/British+Beef - here you can read how they split up (started by flooding their studio)

and the most known (it was in Fifa Street 2)
