What the fuck is wrong with the mods?

I suppose this topics gonna be gone 2 minutes after i post it. But i'm sick of you guys locking or deleting treads for almost no reason. Like the abortion thread, it's a serious discussion. Why lock it? You guys get like mad with power but you just mods on a non official fan website, get over yourselves, your not important. This is like a Natzie forum man, stop editing, locking, or deleting posts and threads for no reason. Yeah if someone uploads illegal content it's ok to do something about it, but other than that just leave the threads the way they are. And if this thread gets deleted i'm just gonna repost it. That kind of censoring is the opposite of sum 41s political stance.

Our mod staff is the best (except for Kyle, but he doesn't do anything anyway).
And why would anyone listen to you dude? 80% of your posts are media requests, and when you actually post somewhere else, you barely post anything that adds to the discussion, instead of bashing our mods who've done a lot for this site (Again, except for Kyle), why not play online scrabble? It calms you down dude.

Don't get me wrong, TNS has it's share of great mods like Janet, Gunner, Boni etc but yes it also has some bad ones.

Well, first off don't go blaming the mods for locking stupid topic, It was Jake, an Admin that locked and I'm sure he locked for a good reason so just go and ask him instead of flaming.

Who gives a shit about Sum 41's political stance. What does that even have to do with us moderating this forum? I doubt Deryck even gives a shit about politics anyway. Every explanation he gives for said political song is so ambiguous, nothing is explicit. Anyone can write a song saying society is shit nowadays. If it's catchy enough, you might have people that feel the same way.

It probably will. If it got locked once before, then it probably will again.

Here's the thing. It's a sensitive topic that brings up a lot of opinions and things like religion get involved. Eventually (this always happens, every forum I've been to) everyone gets pissed off at each other and all chaos and hell breaks loose to the point that the topic gets locked anyway.

I don't believe it to be something that needs to be discussed on a Sum 41 fansite either. Life goes on. And I don't think this is a really serious problem (the topic locking). Whoever locked it was just saving the forum some trouble.

I completely understand. But, doesen't that happen almost every discussion anyway?
