Laptop for graduation

okay so i have almost 600 dollars and i was looking for a decent laptop any suggestions?

Personally, I bought an Acer EEE netbook, it came with Windows but I installed Ubuntu instead and it runs like a dream and it only cost me Ã‚Â£250

Whatever you do, do not get a laptop with Vista preinstalled. It screws up everything you want to do on the laptop.
