It got leaked by a part of the warped tour organisation.. so Sum 41 gave them the song to release it.. maybe the guys thought that it was gonna be released on the CD sampler but in reality it was supposed to be released that way.. and it did..

but no matter the circumstances.. it eventually got released by Sum 41.. so that makes it a legitimate song to me..

exactly ...if you give your song to someone, you can't expect it not to be leaked within a few hours...that's just how the world works nowadays

Once again I will say I don't mean legitimate in the same sense as being a single. Skumfuk is not a single nor will there be a music video.

The point is UH had 3 singles before release. As of right now, we only have SBM. Well actually not even officially released yet.

I wonder if the end of any of the songs won't be a quiet part compared to the rest of the song. like the end of skumfuck goes into a quiet piano/vocals part, the end of SBM goes quiet. seems like deryck can't end a song with a bang :P

they decided not to include it for some reason, maybe because they never got the bands full consent.
Warped Tour Compilation CD and Warped Tour Sampler CD are two different things.

The Compilation is a 2-disc, and has about 40 songs from the bands that perform at Warped Tour.
Sampler CD is a rare EP of about 7 tracks, which is handed out at the festival area either for free or for low price.

Skumfuk was on the Sampler, not on the Compilation.

I'm confident a lot of new stuff will appear around in March, maybe even in April.

I was actually wondering the same thing once we heard the premiere of SBM! I don't think I'd want any more songs to end that way though.

I think every song on the new album should end the way WATB started.

I don't mind songs ending slow or quiet if it serves the song well or if I just like the part in general. Speak of the Devil, Walking Disaster and Screaming Bloody Murder all start and end on a quieter note and it works. I felt like Pull the Curtain didn't really need the last part in it, though it made the song more dynamic, it could easily be mistaken for a totally separate song.

Seems like a cool shoot.

Cool clothings, a lot of attitude.
