dont you guys think that if he was alive he would at least have tried to contact him, i mean...he's super famous, talk about a cash grab for his dad.

I think his father did die before he was born because I'm pretty sure Deryck has his dad's last name, and if his dad had left Michelle, she wouldn't have given his last name to her son.

I belive his dad is alive but is just "dead" so to speak in regards to having a relationship with him. I doubt his dad died...But who knows for certain other than Bizzy himself. ...

Alright. No confusion whatsoever, Deryck's dad is not dead, or at least did not die before he was born. But, Deryck does has a step-dad, and when he refers to his mom and step-dad, he says "parents". Probably means he has a good relationship with his step-dad.
