I'm sorry, I was busy working on my real job, I was out enjoying summer (how could I be so selfish??), and I just didn't have time.

My week starts on Mondays so I was planning on spending my Monday morning working on this website.

Hope you can forgive me and the other admins for being so worthless. Tonight I'm gonna hope I die.

anyways.. let me put this into a metaphor:

Imagine your in a world filled with criminals.. Criminals who shoot you and kill you whenever they see you. The police don't do anything about the criminals. I feel like a vigilante citizen without a gun... i take my message to the police... 2 police men laugh at my face and say there's nothing that can be done. another policemen vows to solve the problem. 2 weeks later, i walk the streets and get shot by a criminal.


Did that metaphor make any sense????

Well, I know what you mean by that metaphor, but you can't really compare criminals to spambots. For one, you're saying the criminals are killing people which is a much more serious problem than spambots coming and reviving old topics that you can't mark as read sometimes. And there is something really fucked with the police system in that town if they refuse to stop those criminals. Also, if crime was really that bad, I don't think it'd be safe to walk the streets anyways.

But I've never really had a problem with the spambots. I just ignore them. I don't even report their posts actually.

I was one of the admins that you messaged about the spambots, and V had already replied when I first saw it. Since V said he would be taking care of it, naturally I moved on. That's why I ignored you, not because it was some malicious attempt to fuck up the forum, because one of the more capable admins than I said he would take care of it. You sent that message less than three days ago, over the weekend, in fact. Did you honestly expect it to be taken care of immediately? There were over a hundred spambots to get rid of, and it was completely impossible to get rid of all of them that fast. Have fun over at "your" fail forum. To be honest, I hope you don't come back, because you have lost all of my respect, Luke.

So what if you have to deal with "spam bots"? I'll tell you how to deal with them in a few simple steps.

Step 1: Click your random thread.
Step 2: Notice a spam bot
Step 3: Report the spam bot's post
Step 4: Go on with your fucking life and wait until I take care of your report.
