I wish Sum 41 would make their setlists the way Green Day does theirs. I don't really follow Green Day, but from what I understand their setlists are different and they play all kinds of songs from their career. Sum 41's setlists seem like they are that of a band that is doing a reunion tour. Playing the hits and only playing the hits and one or two odd songs that weren't singles. They should cut the hit songs down to a certain number and then rotate songs. I honestly don't think it's a necessity to have The Hell Song, Over My Head and Still Waiting in the same setlist all the time, but they've been played for so long that it seems almost impossible for a Sum 41 show to be at its peak without any of those three songs.TomiT14 wrote:Except for Skumfuk. and put songs such as Crash, BIME, RTB, Skumfuk. 88 in there.
I really loved their version of We Will Rock You. They should keep it there for a while. And even though the Metal Mayhem is getting a bit boring, it's their way to have some fun themselves, so I don't see that getting cut off anytime soon.
The only option would be playing longer setlists. But as I don't see that happening, I think it's a good sign if they really dropped Fat Lip out. It's been over 10 years since AKNF, so I think it's time to allow them not to play all the AKNF singles and play some new ones instead.
well for me personally it would be kind of a let down not to hear one of those songs live ^^ i think the main problem with their setlists are that they're just too short ... so they put all these hits in there and then it's done .. green day for example are playing 2.30 hour setlists , so it's normal that their setlist do not only consist of their biggest hits .Jeremy Kill wrote: I wish Sum 41 would make their setlists the way Green Day does theirs. If being drunk was a prerequisite for doing a funny dance, I'd be drunk all the time..SickofEveryone wrote:He has to be really drunk.
So? It only had a positive influence, if any.SickofEveryone wrote:He has to be really drunk.
I'm just saying, that he seemed it, in both fat lip and UH.TomiT14 wrote:So? It only had a positive influence, if any.SickofEveryone wrote:He has to be really drunk.
