Haha! Now that you mention it..
Did anyone catch the name of the girl on their first watch? When I first saw the video, I tried to look at the name at the licence card, but couldn't catch it back then.
Also, Brown Tom said the guy is Billy Spleen.
Wow...not sure what to think...first off, Deryck was soo not with it. 2nd the whole video was a mess, all over the place, with different songs added and all. I don't like it. Poorly done, seemed rushing with no passion in it. Disappointing. And Deryck looked like shit.
The idea wasn't bad, but I couldn't help feeling a little disappointed, to me it felt like they had wanted to do something crazy but didn't wanna push it too much at the same time, which is like a horror movie where the creators are afraid to make it scary and shocking ...
Also, Deryck is slowly turning into an alcoholic, his eyes and his face begin to show it, at least I got the impression when looking at him performing in that video.
In my opinion, they should've done it much darker and leave out the scenes with the band, it felt out of place, I'm sick of these videos where they try to have a story and then suddenly you see the band just singing and doing shit, always feels out of place to me.
This is Mark Allen Hoppus. He likes long walks on the beach. This, this is travis barker. He likes to be read poetry just before sunset. And me, I like to stick small pieces of furniture up my butt.
I spy on my dad while he is taking a shower just like everyone else
Mark: Sometimes when I talk in 3rd person i end up calling tom mark
Tom:Yea than he starts touching me and i think thats masturbation
Some people think were idiots or perverts dont argue were both.
"i think we're gonna be one of those bands thats around forever and even makes records, even if noones buying them and using them for toilet paper...but we'll still make them because we'll be the best fuckin toilet paper anyones ever used...." - Tom Delonge
I liked it! It was AWESOME, it was INSANE!
It's a great video, never thought Sum 41 would do something like this, i was not expecting something like this, at the first time i didn't even know how to feel xD
Also, I'm worried about Deryck, he doesn't look so good, probably he was still drunk from the night before? People keep saying to me that Sum 41 will end because of Deryck and his drinking and drugs problem. I don't believe that he is still on drugs, but i really think that avril fucked him real bad :(
I'm leaving with blood in my eyes

Good idea for a video < bad conversion.
Cutting Skumfuck in, making scene pauses in between, the video totally lost its flow.
Sorry, I waited months for THIS? Oooooooooooooooook....
I enjoyed it. I really liked that jittery, television static effect (because it reminded me of my own video, haha). The addition of Skumfuk in the middle, I thought, was icing on the cake. It was just cool to hear that in there. There's a lot going on in the video and at one point it sounded like they used that noise at the end of Pull the Curtain near the end of the Skumfuk part.
The story is a little plain and seems unrealistic that she managed to find this guy's house in her skivvies. At one point, when she's outside of the house it looked like she had no blood at all on her face.

Is that actually supposed to be her?
Weird. For some reason my earlier post is not showing up.
Anyways, here it is again:

Well, finally got back from work and this was the first thing I did when I got home. And my verdict?
Well that was fucking shit.
Kidding. Not really what I expected it to be, but definitely worth the wait. Enjoyed how they incorporated B@S, SBM and Skumfuk into it. Didn't really mind how the song was broken up; we've all heard it before haven't we? I think this video also kinda proves that music videos in general aren't solely for commercial purposes. This video was clearly released exclusively with the fans in mind (and having a bit of fun). I mean, how is this going to make any money? You couldn't broadcast it on TV before 1am. And whichever channel did would probably get very many angry letters.Still, fucking awesome video. Just wish we could have seen a bit more of the Sums.

It seems like recycled footage that was originally intended for SBM, then BIME got a Grammy nomination, so the label threw some more cash at them, they re-edited it for BIME, mashed it together with other parts of the album, filled the gaps and this abortion came out.
I'm sorry, I know I am supposed to love it because I love the album and it matches the theme, but it just sucks - plain and simple.
A girl gets assaulted and raped while hitchhiking and then takes revenge. How very fucking original ladies and gentlemen, alert the press, everyone. I guess someone has been watching too much Quentin Tarantino lately (and that would definitely not be me). It is right up there in the Hall of Fail with Underclass Hero.
I was hoping for something less in your face and more climactic, kind of like a No Country For Old Men of music videos (or even funny/ironic like We're All To Blame). Instead it starts off with dry anal gangbang and just stops for some titties in the middle. Reminds me of those retarded Billy Talent videos.
I'll watch it again tomorrow, the Lib that I am, but I doubt this one is gonna grow on me. If anything, it's probably gonna make me laugh later.

MMhhhh... sswwwshhhh... just can't get enough of that coke... aawbrrrrrbr ...
Wow the video was pretty weird, but cool ! I liked it ! It was indeed made for the fans cuz it really was sort of a short movie and I can't imagine any channel ever broadcasting it, cuz it's too gory and violent and it's too long, I can't it being broadcast anywhere so yeah, it was definitely made only for the hardcore fans.
I really liked the plot and the way it all went down... really cool, and really hard to believe it's the same band that made silly and funny videos such as Fat Lip and In Too Deep.
To those worried about Deryck, I've seen first hand that he's definitely sobered up, he looks way better now, keep in mind that this video was shot 7 months ago.
At first I didn't know what to think about it, I didn't really like the cut to Skumfuk and the pull the curtain outro noises. It was definitely fucked up.
After watching it a couple of times it grew on me and I could watch it without cringing, too bad not too many people are gonna see it, or see it without thinking Sum 41 is some kind of devil worshipping emo band.
