Re: Fat Lip (Dubstep Remix)
The drops weren't as heavy as I hoped. But during the rapping vocal parts, it sounds SICK!

Haha, this is epic! I don't even like normal dubstep, but I downloaded this song after listening to the first chorus.

The singing is good, of course, but I don't like all the other dubstep nonsense.
Can somebody tell me what the hell a "drop" is?

Re: Fat Lip (Dubstep Remix)
If I had to explain- basically a "breakdown" of electronic music. Often there's a build-up before hand and then when it drops, the music (sometimes) has some really strong powerful bass...stuff I dont know what I'm talking about :)Ashasx wrote:The singing is good, of course, but I don't like all the other dubstep nonsense.

Re: Fat Lip (Dubstep Remix)
I usually can't stand Dubstep either, but the different harmonization in this arrangement is FUCKING AWESOME and it is really well done. Especially the chorus and the bridge make it sound like a completely new song even though the melody of the lead vocals has not been changed at all. The new base (and bass) key, the change from major to minor and that weird new chord progression make all the difference. If that wasn't the case, I would probably hate it. Now I love it.

Re: Fat Lip (Dubstep Remix)
It's not the most dubsteppy piece of dubstep I've ever heard...
It's well put together though.

Fat Lip (Dubstep Remix)
This could be why I enjoy it more than regular dubstep. That and probably because it's a remix.! wrote:It's not the most dubsteppy piece of dubstep I've ever heard...
