What kind of album is this going to be? I remember them saying it was going to be a more rock & roll type of sound or that the new songs that they were playing live sounded like that. Is it going to be another concept album? I kind of hope not.

No, Billie Joe said he wants to make it completely different from AI & 21CB. It's gonna have a lot more of a rock n' roll vibe, along the lines of their 90s stuff, crossed with a bit of Foxboro Hottubs. Though from what we've heard so far, I can kinda hear a tiny bit of 21CB poking through, but nothing substantial or easily noticeable.
