WW2 history is awesome. Everyone should go to Germany/Poland etc and especially Berlin. Fucking awesome place. Depressing, but so cool.

Studying Operation Barbarossa in Advanced History atm. Did you know that when the Germans invaded Russia, Stalin said or did nothing but lock himself in his room for a week and sulk? The first thing he said when he got out was, "This was Lenin's beautiful revolution, and now I've gone and fucked it all up."
Kinda makes you feel sorry for the murdering psychopath.

Yeah I remember talking about that in modern history class. WW2 history is so fucked up...but I just enjoy learning about it. Have you seen where Hitler's bunker/death site is? It's just some shitty dirt car park now. Apparently they sealed off the bunker because Nazi's wanted to set up camp there and celebrate and all that. Kinda sad because I would've liked to walk through it, as a kind of museum, although I don't know if they would've done that anyway.

Also we went to one of those concentration/death camps near Munich. Was probably the most depressing thing I've ever seen. This pic here is some stairs that they were forced to walk up and down non-stop every day carrying rocks from the quarry, and if one person fell down it pretty much meant everyone did. They got pushed off the cliff as well. I seriously almost cried looking out over there. It's weird looking back at this stuff, seriously is madness how it ever got to the point where this could happen.
