If these did teach and "made" Sum 41 like they say then this is just one of those cases when the student to the teacher ends up being smarter than the teacher and just better in general which i can confirm by listening to both bands which one i like the best :2cool4u:

They were. They made fun, pop-punk music pretty much. It's pretty cool that they're getting back together, if you enjoy their tunes. I dug a couple songs that appeared on NHL video game soundtracks, so that's a plus for me. They were never all that amazing, though, so it's just another "whatever" comeback to me.
