I've just read a book called With The Old Breed, the Japanese soldiers would shoot a guy in both his legs to make sure somebody comes to help him so they could shoot a corpsman too, or they would kill the american soldiers, then chop off their penises and put them in their mouths ...

I guess that if you witnessed something like that or if your brother was killed on 9/11, you would celebrate the death of Bin Laden as well, and if not than you're either Christian or stupid

I would highly recommend this book to anyone who is interested in war generally, it is written very well, understandable and you don't loose track, the scenarios are pretty much greatly described and it is extremely honest, the author has been through hell and he tells the story, honestly and admirably, it also has it's funny moments, disgusting moments(as some things are hard to believe), well, I would say the book is 10/10 for sure !

I would say that if you have ever read a book about troops fighting the Germans, then this will be something new for ya, it is like a totally different war, just as fucked up, or even more fucked up, than the war in Europe ...
