More or less the same except for the growing on me bit. I still don't like listening to the 3 songs so far. Here's hoping for better songs on the album.
exactly the same for me. I dunno, I just don't really care for a new Blink 182 album, I've moved on. will still buy the new album and hope for something to change by mind, but if it doesn't then I don't really give a shit. I've got Brian Fallon to wank over these days.
Haha, Elsie, Elsie, Elsie! I still haven't received my deluxe order from the website yet!

As for Blink, I'm hoping for some more faster-paced, aggressive-type songs (ie. Stockholm Syndrome, Go, Easy Target... Etc.). Tom needs to play the guitar more!
I haven't had mine through yet either, just the red LP from the UK store I ordered.

I feel Tom's voice is nothing like it used to be, except on AVA, Mark sounds the same, which is good, the guitar and bass is nothing special, kinda boring, but Travis is what is keeping the band sounding different.

After Midnight is the best song they have released thus far. I think people are kind of annoying about the AVA/+44 styles... Tom's voice and guitar are going to sound AVA esque because that's just what he uses / how his voice sounds now. He did say he was trying to add prog-rock to the blink sound.

I'm pretty sure a lot of the reason this stuff just doesn't have that extra blink-182 punch is because they don't have Finn anymore to produce their music.

Up All Night had kind of a weak chorus, but the verses were legit. Hearts All Gone just sounded unfinished.. like, it was a demo or something. The song just sounds bland... I can understand why people love it, because the guitar and the overall sound just has a classic-blink sound to it. It sounds like it could have been taken from the Dude Ranch / Enema era. The lyrics, however, sound like newer blink.. so that's an interesting mix... After Midnight sounds like a classic new-school blink-182 single. Sounds like it was jacked straight from the Untitled record. I dunno, it's pretty awesome. I bet it becomes a hit.

Why are they so lazy that they can't add vocals to any of the bridges on any of these songs? I understand, a lot of blink songs are like that, but c'mon! I want more substance.
And I know I said I needed space,

but I know I can't be comfortable in my own skin.

So when I say I'm scared to be alone, you know I mean it,

I'm just not ready to leave my room.

Anyone else read what bundle they are doing while on the Civic Tour? I think it sucks if people in the UK and other places can't get.

I just gave up waiting and bought a vinyl from Interpunk and I'm gonna get the Deluxe in stores on release day, at least one store should have it if you're in a decent sized city.

When I downloaded blink's After Midnight, the download from blink themselves, I added it on my ipod, but when I went to play it, the neighborhoods album artwork was all blue not gray. Anyone else got this?

The Cure feeling in After Midnight grows on me a lot, a real good song
This is Mark Allen Hoppus. He likes long walks on the beach. This, this is travis barker. He likes to be read poetry just before sunset. And me, I like to stick small pieces of furniture up my butt.
Image
I spy on my dad while he is taking a shower just like everyone else
Mark: Sometimes when I talk in 3rd person i end up calling tom mark
Tom:Yea than he starts touching me and i think thats masturbation
Some people think were idiots or perverts dont argue were both.

I was extremely skeptical about Neighborhoods before hearing anything. My skepticism doubled when I heard Up All Night, it didn't sound like blink, it sounded like AvA and was really nothing special. Then when Hearts All Gone came out, I breathed a little sigh of relief, it brought my back to the 90's listening to Dude Ranch. I had been putting off listening to After Midnight because I had heard the live version and I wasn't really blown away by it. I just listened to it for the first time about an hour ago and it hasn't stopped playing yet. I fucking love this song, it really gives me hope for Neighborhoods. I can't fucking wait.
