Did anyone see the making of UH yet?

Post by Star »

Im guessing it was The Making Of Underclass Hero, because I flipped on Fuse, and saw Deryck. Then it was Sum in the studio with Cone and Deryck talking about guitar arrangements, etc.
Anyway; I'm not sure how long it is, because I only saw 20 minutes of it. When I turned on the TV Guide channel to get the actual name, it said Paid programming.
Did anyone else catch it? If so, you can just close this.

Ill try to get atleast a part of it if it re-airs. I'll re-watch their 'Paid Programming' tomorrow morning and see if they replay it

Part, I think.
I turned it on and Deryck was talking about the music. Then it showed Cone and Deryck talking about guitar/bass pitches and what they liked and didn't. and Steve was sitting sort of further back than them. And every few minutes it go from them in the studio, to them alone talking about each part of what they did. Cone mentioned Deryck's lyrics and how personal he went and how Deryck doesn't open up in music, but with them he does. And Steve said something about how Cone and Deryck would get really deep about their compares and contrasts into the guitar/bass conversations so he'd leave for coffee because he didn't want to be involved. Afterwards Deryck was singing something in his socks lol. Then Deryck was talking about how he didn't want to produce, and Cone said he saw Deryck a few years back really getting into the learning of producing.
That's was a lot of typing. Pheww. :P
Note; this isn't in the order of how I saw it all, I tried to tape it but I ran out of DVDs.

I sent this to Dipple:

Hey Dipple. Firstly, thanks for uploading so many Sum 41 videos. You're great at filming.
My question is..When is the offical release of The Making of Underclass Hero coming out? (I mean the album, not the video)
I saw 20 minutes of it on Fuse, but it's nowhere online.
Thanks, Hope to hear from you soon.

I know I wont get a reply back soon, Its usually a week before he replys to me..So when he does, Ill post what he says

i saw it today at 6pm.
it was on channel 101 on directv.
it wasnt called anything special, all it said for the title was sum 41.
so if you have directv, just do a search for sum 41.
im pretty sure they will have it playing a bunch of times.
im surprised that this wasnt mentioned on the official website.
