The Wrong Way
Now I've saw a few members get it wrong and it cause the Youtube window to appear with a white screen with some sort of image. The reason for this they posted the whole YouTube url like this.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=77Fla6Amr9I
Likes This
Code: Select all

As you can see, this doesn't not work
How it Should Be
This is actually wrong, all the YouTube tag is interested is the last bit of the code after the "?v=" and before the "&something". I'll you show examples, the red bits are the part of the url we want
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=77Fla6Amr9I
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=77Fla6Amr9I&feature=channel
So with the Video ID this is what we place in the YouTube tags like this
Code: Select all

Quickie on MTV
NOTE: This is designed for MTVmusic.com
Get the video URL (For this example we use Sum 41's Fat Lip)
http://www.mtvmusic.com/sum_41/videos/66432/fat_lip.jhtml
Now what we want is the ID number which I'll mark red
http://www.mtvmusic.com/sum_41/videos/66432/fat_lip.jhtml
The code should then look like this:
Code: Select all
[mtv]66432[/mtv]
