i've been in kind of a rut this passed semester. out of work because of the damn economy, and pretty much bored all day unless i'm doing hw or hanging with friends. so i wrote this to describe how alone and bored i felt on some of the days with nothing to do. and btw it's not meant to be emo or depressed sounding lol

I roll out of bed and don't wanna speak
Out the window the sun is at its peak
Another drag tries to meet the race
The dullness is written all over my face
My expectations have fun dry
No confrontations to deny
What do you do when it's all been done
Boredom fills the days one by one

So little hope it's hard to care
My life has never been so low
I walk the streets with nowhere to go
Time paves a trail of misfortune
Sights of relief are full of distortion
My mind is so off course causing these sleepless nights
I lye awake staring blankly like a deer in headlights
