MP4 format won't load to ipod

I've got a mp4 movie in my folder waiting to go on my ipod. But when i drag and drop it into my ipod section i get this.

WTF? A MP4 video cannot go on my ipod?

btw, it's a 2nd generation ipod touch.

Help?

I think the only thing that can play on ipods that are videos are MPEG-4 files. All the videos that I bought are all MPEG-4 so yes? Btw, how'd you get Road to Ruin?

I have same problem with my ipod 2 gener. too :E Some mp4 works, some doesnt ;#

MPEG-4 and mp4 are the same. As for the r2r stuff, I have no idea

War of the worlds kind of sucked.

I just hate the story.

Especially the ending.
