this sounds so fucking promising!!! icant wait, and i hope cones bass parts arent too boring, so he has fun playing them
Children of the beast embrace,
To scorn and the human race,
Consume the light that hugs the earth,
And aid the womb in giving birth,
To a group that will appear,
And guide you through this final year,
The dark armies then will come,
When the sum is 41

That's awesome! Cone and I have the same tastes regarding our favorite Sum 41 songs. He likes Still Waiting and No Reason and so do I. Therefore, if Cone says it's awesome, I'll probably like it too! The best part is that it's supposed to be different than Underclass Hero.

Now that we hear it from Cone it'll be totally different than UH its freakin' great! Can't wait!
Too bad about the OpMD album, I thought it'll be out by January-February 2009, but if he says Todd is only comin in January to record vocals, it means after that they'll have to mix and master it before release, so it'll probably be released around the time the Sum 41 EP will be released also.

Also, Cone did say album, so what if they'll decide to make it full length in the end, since they have 7 songs anyway, they can maybe come up with some kickass ideas during recording and all, and maybe record like 5-6 more songs.

Anyway, Can't wait for the new EP and also the OpMD especially since Ian D'sa is playing on it (probably, according to the pictures, I guest he's not just a guest in the studio haha).

I'm so happy it sounds nothing like any other album! I always love it when they make new different stuff. And since it's Sum 41, their "new" or "different" are ALWAYS KICK ASS!
Why can't they just mix the b-side? ;[
It's good to know they got along better than when recording UH.
Too bad OpMD albums aren't sold here ><

2009; best year ever.

Yeah, I prefer hearing the EP before the B-side, but if the EP will be out really only around April-May 2009 (spring) so I prefer at least to hear the B-side in like January-February, but thats probably ain't happening.

They should just throw the B-Side into the EP. One more song can't hurt, haha.

I get the vibe the B-side is apparently completely different from what will be on the EP.
