SO, the first two songs from Conventional Weapons are out. They're pretty good; both seem like they were stripped apart to make Vampire Money, with the main body and solo from Tomorrow's Money and the bridge from Boy Division. It looks like the change of direction was decided pretty early on for the band - these sound exactly like b-sides from Danger Days (good b-sides, obviously).

Boy Division KILLS anything off of Danger Days. MUCH, much better than anything they made on that album.

Don't like either song as much as the majority of Danger Days but they're definitely 2 good tracks. Have high hopes for the rest now.

I hated Danger Days. But holy shit this is the best MCR material I've heard in years!!! :')

it sounds like their earlier ideas/material with the "Danger days" concept and production. I love these songs ALOT.

edit: a few more listens. This could potentially be my favorite MCR yet. Its the perfect balance of all the elements that they've done in the past. It's just so "MCR"!! And its everything that I've ever loved about the band into 2 little songs that (unfortunately) never saw the light of day (till now). I'm very much looking forward to next months songs.

It's just different in that it's being released little by little...

Definitely not as good as Boy Division and probably not as good as Danger Days stuff. Just bland melodic stuff.

I really didn't like #3. #4, however, has just come out! It sounds great! Kiss The Ring is an awesomely dirty punk track, while Make Room!!!! is more of the same, with bridge lyrics straight from Na Na Na.

YEEEEE!!!! more great songs! I don't know why but, I don't like the melodic stuff from this band. It's not that they're bad it, cause they're great- it's just not the reason why I'd listen to them. They capture alot of emotio with their darker music and then they have these punk songs.

I think you can pre-order is as one full set from the band's website, otherwise they're five separate EP's.

Boy Division is the best, I only like the first releases and this current one. 2 and 3 weren't good, but I did download the songs lol
