This is awesome!, ill have to say tho after listening to all those songs on the list, its definetly between the foos and the sums, no way mastodon will win, megadeths was ok, dream theater id say was the best out of all the other ones, white limo is one of my least favorite songs on wasting light but all the songs on that album are amazing, and we all kno blood in my eyes is amazing so i say its between those two.

so, where is your point ? How is Titanic as bad as Lady Gaga or Usher? It's not that I don't like her, it's that music like that is nothing but a bunch of shitty stuff, shitty singing, shitty lyrics(especially this), and rich men putting money into their arms, and in 1997 the amount of bad movies or music wasn't as high as it is now, so the thing that Titanic won the award for the best movie wasn't so surprising, nor unbearable(cause it's still a pretty decent movie), but it sure was affected by the fact that Titanic made so much money and people got so emotionally attached to it, and there were better movies than Titanic in 1997, like Good Will Hunting or L.A Confidential

but still I think that Oscars are much more legit than these music awards, probably because the movies that have won over the years may not have always deserved it the most, but at least they were good or great, but the music that wins the Grammy awards, it's often as shitty as the rapper in the Rebeca Black's song...

i can't believe it's a grammy nomination. that song doesn't even have its own wikipedia page (yet). like i thought this was just gonna be some obscure award cuz the thread title doesn't specify, but holy shit, can't believe they got one, especially considering their heavily diminished popularity and complete lack of publicity for sbm. good for them. i know it's a stretch, but i'd love to see them actually win the thing.
