Thanks Brian, can you give us some insight as to when the band is gonna get on an independent label thats actually gonna do shit to promote them, unlike this island records bullshit? if they're only one album away from the end of their contract, just release a live album or a EP of b-sides or some shit, anything to get them off island. i think the fans are just tired of the band not getting the media recognition they deserve.

Also, i think the fans would be okay with Deryck performing a little less energetic if that means that they wouldn't have to cancel every second tour. It is especially frustrating to someone like myself who had tickets to TWO cancelled tours and has yet to see one of their favourite bands live.

In my personal opinion, the punk ideal is kind of stupid. Too many double standards and contradictions.

I'm 25 and experienced my own issues with back pain this year. A bulging disc in the L5-S1 area. The pain that radiates from sciatica/radiculopathy is terrible and I wouldn't wish it upon anyone. It can also take up to 1-2 years to fully heal without surgery. He's smart to have withheld surgery for as long as he could and I hope he can recover without surgery too. Surgery is not a quick fix and can still take up to a year or two to fully recover for any back problems.

Oh and for people who say "well he does drink a lot", well no shit, a bit of pain medication and alcohol help relieve/forget that the problem is even there, if only for a brief moment. Im not saying it's smart, but drinking has nothing to do with why his back is in pain.

Look forward to seeing them when he's better!
