yeah i went to LA to rehearse with the guys. I'm going down in late nov. as well.
Had a gob show in calgary for halloween, it was super fun.
I've been writing, we will be recording a gob record in jan/feb.

I must say that I have a hard time telling who's nicer between Dave and Tom. You can switch out some words to make it relate to Dave and I'd probably believe it.

So there, 2 months..

I PM'ed Cone like a week a go, and asked him how the recording's going etc.
He confirmed (once more) that Jessica Kill will be a song on the new album and that they will play a new song or two at Groezock, 24th of April.

Yeah. Even though tour-wise the Sums has been Tom's priority, I think Deryck can/wants to handle majority of the guitar parts on the record, so if Gob's in studio at the same time, Tom's appearance on the album might be minimal.

To be honest i think Tom's major priority is Gob so he'll probably just do some small parts and record the Cone song so they can releasi as the first single.

As much as I want Tom to have involvement in the band as an official member should, I'd still want Deryck to be playing the majority, if not, all the guitar parts for this album. I'm just really curious to see how good he is at guitar. I already know where Tom stands from him playing at the Hoodwink festival covering Metallica.

deryck and cone put fairy lights all over the studio - it looks like a whore house now...

Today we are working on a slower song. We've vibe'd out the studio with some lights to get in the mood!
