Sum 41 in Peru - live premiere of the 5-piece band!

Post by dff_punk »

Ok, it's time to make this place more lively!

On saturday, the band will premiere as a five-piece in Peru! Anyone excited for some videos(since not all of us are from Peru to be there live)? I'm mainly looking forward to Dave playing songs from albums that he hasn't played on(Underclass Hero, SBM) - how will the tunes sound with 3 guitars when some barely had two? It will surely be exciting :)

And of course all of you have already seen pics from rehearsals:

It's super-exciting to have Dave back!

Although I have to mention that the majority of my time as a superfan has been in post-Dave era, so it hurts to see Tom in the background in all of those pictures. I really hope they will switch places between songs, so that Tom wouldn't be just a backing guitar. :silly:

That said, I'm really trying to fight against watching YouTube clips from those shows. I don't want too much spoilers before the Kerrang tour. :devious:

Loving that new backdrop, and of course, the five-piece lineup!

Also, inviting fans up on stage still makes me feel aweSUM to have so much love for this band, as if it wasn't possible to more than I already did.

Hopefully the Sums will make their way back to Canada for a show in the New Year--Needing a little of this in my life right now!

Probably the best quality yet. I love how I instantly notice it's Dave playing the solo.

here's screaming bloody murder! I like that Tom still does the solo on this one, and dave does the old songs. It gives them both a chance to shine. I hope this line up will last!

That setlist in Argentina, just wow. 4 SBM songs!

Reason to Believe is perfect to start a show. And With Me & No Reason are nice surprises.

cheers! setlist.fm isn't exactly the most trust worthy site but this one looks pretty legit.

freakin awesome though that they've played sick of everyone.
in a perfect utopian world they would play a dark road out of hell in it's entirety, wich would make me a very happy man.

Well, I think this little melee was amazing at the end of Motivation as always the 88 solo, after that part of the intro of Subject To Change and then Over My Head, I hope they play Subject To Change some day lol.
